Disclaimer: I don’t own Eureka or Battlestar Galactica. If I did, like hell BSG would end with S4.
 
Summary: After the ending of the Second Cylon War, Caprica and the few other survivors of her race are imprisoned and studied in secret research facilities. And Caprica’s path crosses with Nathan’s at Global Dynamics, with unexpected consequences…

Eureka and SGA Actor Crossovers?

Hello All -

As many of you know, Eureka is filmed at Bridge Studios in Vancouver, BC - same place as SGA and Battlestar Galactica. 

Well, can you identify all the actor crossovers this past season from SGA/SG1?  :)

There were a few surprises along the way, I found. 

Christopher Gautier - our favorite chef Vincent actually showed up on SGA in season 2 for an ep.  He was the one that told Teyla that there were indeed more survivors than just Ronon from his home planet of Sateda. 

Dr. Ajerbajahn - the doc w/ the strange machine that was making the huge booms in like ep 2x04 - Games People Play. He was in the first ep of SGA this season - Adrift  Someone tell me if he's Bug from Crossing Jordan?  I could swear he's familiar and I can't id him. 

Terryl Rothery  - Dr. Janet Frasier for 7 years on SG1 and then, a role as Dianne, a bereaved widow looking to reconnect with her dead husband Daniel (hah!) in ep 2x10 - God is in the Details.

Richard Ian Cox - he played Nyan a native who didn't follow the local politics on SG-1 and provided aid to a wounded Teal'c in the SG-1 ep "New Ground."  In SGA, he played Dr. Brendan Gall who ended up being Wraith food in episode 1x12 - The Defiant One.  In Eureka, he was the scientist in charge of the town's sewer system in 2x11 - Maneater

Lexa Doig - she played Dr. Carolyn Lam on SG1 for 2 seasons (also married to Michael Shanks) and Dr. Anne Young in 2x11 Maneater, the sexual harassment specialist.

Michael Shanks - he played Christopher Dactylos in ep 2x12 - All That Glitters, the grouchy, sweaty and sleeveless alchemist/artist.  (Best known as Dr. Daniel Jackson for 10 years now w/ SG-1)

David Nykl - Dr. Radek Zalenka on SGA (everyone's favorite Czech scientist *g*) he showed up in episode 2x03 - Unpredictable as Dr. Stephen Whiticus, a nearly blind weather scientist.  He joked about the "long bike ride" from his trailer on the SGA set over to the Eureka set.  (Common form of transport on the studio property is a bike.  ;) )

I think I covered all of them, is there anyone I'm missing here?  Bridge Studios seems to be crossover central now, doesn't it?  *laugh*

 Okay, y'all.  In an effort to stave off post-season-finale letdown, I'm posting a fan-fic challenge here.  Write a short fan fiction (I'm not posting a word limit, but keep it reasonable, not multiple chapters) about what else Fargo has installed in SARAH that he hasn't revealed to Jack.  Humorous, serious, story, poem, drabble or haiku - whatever format you like.  Deadline: end of October.  Post it here at the community.  Spoilers through the end of season 2 acceptable.  Prize: admiration and compliments.  Winners:  the writers and the readers!

Hey guys :) I don't think I've ever posted here, so it's great to 'meet' you all. Eureka is, thankfully, the first sane fandom I've ever dabbled in so I'm so pleased to find comms on LJ for it!

Quick question (if this isn't allowed please delete it mods, and my apologies):

Does anyone know where to find hi-res pics of the town/sets? I'm trying to put together a little informational site which will also act as a sort of portal, with links other other Eureka-based sites by others (if you have any site/forum links, please let me know also. I'll be including this comm, of course ;).

Eureka fanfic up for grabs!

Our fandom needs more fanfic!!! There is a surprisingly large number of people offering up Eureka fic (and a few icons or vids) in the charity auction at Sweet Charity. The auction is for a great cause (RAINN - Rape Abuse Incest National Network), and there are several great authors still available at bargain rates!
