Eureka Haven

It seems to me that the writers of Eureka have been unusually quick in establishing a canonical basis for certain relationships. I'm not necessarily complaining, mind you. I'm just saying that usually television series have a tendency to move relationships along at a very slow pace. This got me to wondering... ( Spoilers through the first 11 episodes here and in comments )
