Tonight's Episode Discussion!

At first I didn't like new Alison, but she grew on me. I'm LOVING new Stark.

Jack is still by far my favorite character, he's just so great and I think this episode is a really strong one for his character.

Fargo is fantastic. Really, really fantastic.

I'm really interested in knowing where the Henry knowing about Beverly thing is going. Henry working with Stark was interesting. I think that Henry will go work at Global, and maybe Stark will become the new Henry? That would be cool.

Although I did spend the opening scenes grumbling to Twin that they had better do something very different from SGA's S2 ep, I have to say they succeeded. It was different enough to not compare the two other than the initial "Oh for crying out loud, the personal forcefield that can't shut off has already been done on SGA and no one can beat Sheppard shooting McKay and pushing him off a balcony."

I really liked Stark and Carter working together... and poor Carter's name plate gift was so him. :( And that is one hellava first day for Allison, but I like how she stood up to the General in the end and told him he couldn't fire her for another 3 hours. And I liked how Carter totally had no problems handing the "fishing pole" to Jo and letting her shoot Fargo.

And Fargo! He cracks me up.

I don't understand shrink woman (Beverly). Obviously I missed something big in S1 with her. And Henry! He's still scary creepy because he is so damn good at hiding his true feelings.

Good ep... and Carter's face totally cracked me up when he found out his daughter passed driver's ed!

In season one they set Beverly up to be a mole of some sort- I forget who she is working for, though. The new Henry scares me! It will be interesting to see how they let that storyline unfold.

...and I am still more than a little bit in love with Fargo.

Yes, next week I shall have S1 in my hands so I can watch it and catch up... but first I need to watch up to what has aired in the US for S3 of Doctor Who.

but thanks for telling me about Bev... there is definitely something I don't like about her character.

Fargo ROCKS! He reminds me of McGee on NCIS.

I really enjoyed the show. Yes, I recognized the similarities to the Atlantis episode, but depend on Eureka to find their own take on it.

And I adored Jack and Nathan working together, and their responses to it. They crack me up.

Especially when Nathan said that Jack had a good idea and that it didn't even leave a bad taste in his mouth to say it. And Jack said, "Give it a minute." And then Nathan said, "There it is."

I laughed like hell.

I think that was my favorite line of the whole ep! Hysterical.

Yeah, Allison's new hardass attitude got my back up a little bit (hey, anyone who gets snippy at my favorite Sheriff gets my back up), but I think it's starting to grow on me as well. Plus, given Carter's reaction to Allison getting snippy and bitchy at him, I think it will be a great source of conflict between them this season. :D

I also enjoyed Carter and Stark working together. If Henry goes down the path of ebilness, those two may have to pull together and stop him. But yeah, if those two keep working together things should be fun, given their tendency to bicker. Though, I think it might lose a little of the mean spiritedness, which works for me. Snarky for snarky's sake is good, but snarky to be mean? Not so much.

From the look of it, it seems like Henry's not just mooning over Kim. I think he might be investigating the accident and everything around it. Now he knows that Beverly was and likely *is* up to something, he'll probably keep investigating and who knows? Maybe he'll find out that she's the uber-evil shrink spying on everyone. Or something.

Yet again, not too much of Zoe, but what little there was of her was great. That dear in the headlights look on Carter's face when he found out that she had passed Drivers' Ed was hilarious. *g*

I noticed at the beginning that the little Sonnets book appeared again and Carter gave it another weird look. Makes me wonder just how thorough that memory wipe thing Henry used last week was. Time will tell, I guess. ;)
