I felt pretty much the same way. The "science" was pretty darned absurd. There was plenty of hand-wavey-ness there to make up for the lack of hand-wavey-ness about Stark. (My favorite bit was the limited amount of dust in the sarcophagus - must've been one tiny queen!)
Of course, while I did really appreciate that they addressed the fallout, I thought they took it one step too far with the second holographic message from Stark at the end. That was more than a little mushy and extremely convenient.
